Twenty-seven contracts were signed last week in Manhattan at $4 million and
above, 13 fewer than the previous week’s record-breaking, one-year high total of 40. Condos outsold co-ops, 21-3, and 3 townhouses were in the mix.
The No. 1 contract was PH at 60 Collister Street, asking $26.95 million; it was listed in December. The duplex penthouse condo has 5,126 square feet including 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and terraces on 2 floors that total 700 square feet. The building was originally constructed in 1866 as a stable for carriage horses that delivered packages and telegraphs for the American Express Company. Amenities in the 15-unit building include a doorman and garage.
