It has 4,004 square feet including 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 powder rooms, 6 fireplaces, and an elevator. It also has 2 terraces on the top floor. The houses on Sutton Square were rebuilt in the 1920s, and share a common garden overlooking the East River.
The No. 2 contract was a brownstone at 58 West 9th Street, asking $11.9 million, reduced from $17 million when it went on the market in August of 2016. This 17-foot-wide, 4-story house has 4,930 square feet including 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 powder rooms, and 10 fireplaces. It was purchased for $8.3 million in 2012 and then gut renovated.
