Every dog has his day, and as we approach the dog days of August, my prediction about a summer slowdown finally seems to be coming true. Only 7 contracts were signed last week on properties at $4 million and above.
The No. 1 contract was apartment 18/19A at 965 Fifth Avenue, asking $17.9 million for this duplex penthouse with 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, multiple terraces, and 3 fireplaces. The co-op, which is in good condition, has glorious views of Central Park from the living room, dining room, and two of the bedrooms.
