The façade of the 24-foot-wide red brick house has retained the coffee company’s original sign, which is etched above the front door, and the home has 9,000 square feet including 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and 2 powder rooms. It has a 1,500-square-foot living room, gym, sauna, a large rooftop terrace, and a commercial-sized elevator.

The No. 2 contract was 113 East 90th Street, asking $27 million; it was listed at the end of September. It is a former firehouse with a landscaped garden and a separate carriage house in the back. The 4-story, 25-foot-wide house has 5,625 square feet including 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 powder rooms. It also has 3 fireplaces, a 3000-bottle wine cellar, and a double-height ceiling in the entrance, but it does not have an elevator. The seller purchased the house for $9,875,000 in 2011 and then renovated it.
