Stat Geek Alert: The week’s performance beat the 10-year average of 17 signed contracts for the week before Labor Day.

The No. 1 contract was the 5th floor at 150 Wooster Street, asking $18 million; it was listed in the middle of July. The seller purchased the loft-style condo from the sponsor in 2018 for $13,899,112. The full-floor unit has 4,271 square feet including 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. A 24’ x 34’ great room with a gas fireplace faces Wooster Street. A large eat-in kitchen opens onto a 184-square-foot balcony. Completed in 2018, 150 Wooster is a 6-unit condo with a fulltime doorman.

The No. 2 contract was 46C at 157 West 57th Street, asking $13.9 million, reduced from $18.5 million when it was listed by the sponsor in 2013. The condo has 3,466 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The living room and master bedroom have views of Central Park. The building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc, with interiors by Thomas Juul-Hansen. The 90-story, 90-unit condo was built above the 5-star Park Hyatt Hotel, which has a separate entrance for its 210 rooms. Amenities include use of hotel services, a fitness center, pool, private dining, a library lounge, performance space, and a garage.
